December bells
It's Christmastime!
Hello everyone, and welcome back to another week of loose watercolour fun! A late edition this week, but that’s because we’ve been getting in the Christmas spirit over here in Looseville, especially as we’re now in the run up to the big day. We’ve put the tree up, and even had our first Christmas dinner of the season this week (delicious as always!), and of course, I’ve been painting some festive friends in the loose style. Toby’s especially been enjoying all the fun!
It was fantastic to see you all at this week’s live broadcast, which was ‘Poinsettia Fun!’ - I’ve spotted a lot of poinsettias in the last few weeks, so of course, I looked for some floral inspiration! In terms of my own painting this week, I haven’t got up to as much plein air as I usually do, mainly because the weather is just so cold! But here’s one that I managed in warmer days - painting at the historic Belton House estate in Lincolnshire.
Christmas is just around the corner, and that means it’s gift giving season.
